"dobandirea reputatiei"- viziunea lui Tozer

Am vizionat un film bun la vox dei azi, "Time Changer" . In internet movie database se precizeaza urmatoarul avertisment.
Don't watch it unless you are a truly fundamentalist Christian!

scurta prezentare de film

Replicile care m-au urmarit cel mai mult
pana acasa din film au fost:

* " Toti vom trai vesnic. Depinde unde"
* "divertismentul secular este ceea ce foloseste satan pentru
distrugerea relatiei noastre cu Dumnezeu "

Personal mi-a placut filmul si versetele amintite .

Cuvantul lui Dumnezeu care are autoritate spune in felul urmator si azi :

2 timotei 3:1-5



1 Să ştii că în zilele din urmă vor fi vremuri grele.

2 Căci oamenii vor fi iubitori de sine, iubitori de bani, lăudăroşi, trufaşi, hulitori, neascultători de părinţi, nemulţumitori, fără evlavie,

3 fără dragoste firească, neînduplecaţi, clevetitori, neînfrânaţi, neîmblânziţi, neiubitori de bine,

4 vânzători, obraznici, îngâmfaţi; iubitori mai mult de plăceri decât iubitori de Dumnezeu;

5 având doar o formă de evlavie dar tăgăduindu-i puterea. Depărtează-te de oamenii aceştia.

Conform lui A.W.Tozer noi putem fi recuoscuti dupa urmatoarele :

1. ceea ce ne dorim cel mai mult....
2. la ce ne gandim cel mai mult ....
   
3. cum ne folosim banii ....
   
4. ce facem cu timpul nostru liber...
5. ce companie preferam ( cum arata anturajul tau)
   
6. pe cine si ce admiram ...
   
7. care sunt motivele pentru care radem. ....
   

Tu ce apreciezi , pe cine apreciezi in viata, ce iubesti si la ce razi ?
Astfel aflii cine esti.
Dumnezeu sa te cerceteze in examinarea corecta.

"It's rather obvious Hollywood is fairly liberal, but at least the movies that show this bias are entertaining. "Time Changer" is basically one long tirade against the values of today. It is, in some ways, valid (churches should focus on the Bible and not on "fun" activities designed to swell the ranks, our society HAS become too obsessed with sex and violence), but, in some ways, it is incredibly intolerant. Saying that Jesus Christ is the only source of truth is like saying Buddha or Mohammed can only show correct morals; in this modern era, that kind of attitude belongs in 1890.

This is a Christian movie for diehard Christians. The movie itself is fairly slow, with long theology and philosophy along with heavy-handed acting that sometimes borders on the laughable (Captain Stubing!). Personally, I prefer theology from a pastor and entertainment from a movie. Oh well."
